Local Memorial for Victim of Mumbai Terror Attacks Features World Renowned Speaker Chaya Teldon on

On the second  anniversary of the terror attacks in Mumbai, Chabad presents “A Tribute to Jewish Heroism” an evening of inspiration and motivation in memory of a valiant woman who was brutally murdered in the attacks.


In commemoration of the second anniversary of the Mumbai terror attacks, Chabad presents, “A tribute to Jewish Heroism” on November 7 at 6:45 p.m. featuring world renowned lecturer and entertainer Mrs. Chaya Teldon. This evening is dedicated to Rebbetzin Rivkah Holtzberg . Rivkah Holtzberg was the Chabad emissary inn Mumbai who was brutally murdered in the attacks together with her husband and visitors in her home and Chabad House (Nariman House).


“A Tribute to Jewish Heroism” is a gathering of Jewish women of all walks of life that will take place in Rivkah’s memory. This evening will shed light on Rivkah Holtzberg’s valiant story. It is a tale of heroism that will transform the way you view yourself and the world around you.


Mrs. Chaya Teldon and her husband, Rabbi Tuvia Teldon, co-founded Chabad Lubavitch of Long Island, which now has 30 centers around the Island. She is a sought after speaker throughout the US, and has lectured in Israel, Australia, Canada, England, Argentina and South Africa. The New York Times called her the “Erma Bombeck” of Jewish Speakers. Her humor and warmth, mixed with the Jewish wisdom of the ages, leaves and indelible impression on all who hear her.
