Irene Shavit, 23, from Bitzaron, was with her partner, Netta, in Kfar Aza on October 7, 2023, when terrorists killed his grandmother and uncle. As they hid in their safe room, Netta shielded I rene from a grenade, sacrificing himself. She survived under his body until rescued by the IDF hours later.
